Stoneriver Capital — Website Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 14, 2026
Stoneriver Capital LLC (“Stoneriver,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected in connection with our website at https://www.stonerivercapital.com (the “Site”).
This Privacy Policy covers only the Site and electronic messages you send us through it. It does not cover information you give us offline, information you share with us through our secure document-sharing platform (which is handled under the separate arrangements that apply to that platform and to our client relationships), or the practices of other companies whose websites may be linked from the Site.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. The Site has a contact form. If you complete it, we receive the information you choose to provide — your name, your email address, where you are based (city and country), the topic of your inquiry (selected from a list of our services), and a short description of your situation. You are not required to provide any personal information simply to browse the Site. We use the contact form to respond to you and to arrange a call.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our website hosting provider automatically records limited technical information in its server logs, such as your IP address and browser and device type. We use this information only to operate and secure the Site. The Site does not use website-analytics tools (for example, Google Analytics or similar products), and we do not build profiles of visitors or track your activity across other websites.
2. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our Site relies only on a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Site to load, function, and remain secure. Our contact form uses a security tool (Cloudflare Turnstile) to protect against spam and automated abuse; this tool does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
The Site does not use analytics cookies or advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not use advertising or tracking pixels (for example, the Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, or Google Ads tracking). Because the Site uses only necessary cookies, we do not display a cookie-consent banner.
Most web browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through your settings. If you block cookies, some parts of the Site may not work properly.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to your inquiries and provide the information you request;
- operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
- communicate with you about a possible or existing client relationship; and
- keep appropriate business records and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only with:
- service providers that help us operate our business and the Site — for example, our website hosting and contact-form provider, our customer-relationship-management (CRM) provider, our secure document-storage and file-sharing provider, and our email, productivity, and accounting providers — which may use the information only to provide services to us;
- our own professional advisors, such as attorneys and accountants, where reasonably necessary;
- authorities or others where required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights, our clients, or others; and
- a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or other business transfer, subject to this Privacy Policy.
Artificial-intelligence tools. Where we use AI-assisted tools to help us prepare documents and correspondence, and to prepare meeting notes, we use only tools that do not use client data to train their models and that store data on servers located in the United States. We use AI-assisted meeting-note tools only with client consent.
5. Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information in our care. No website or method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive personal or financial information — such as Social Security numbers, account numbers, or tax identification numbers — through the Site’s contact form. When it is appropriate to exchange sensitive documents, we will provide a secure method for doing so.
6. Data Retention
We keep information collected through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and to meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through the Site, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
8. Links to Other Websites
The Site may link to third-party websites or social-media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You can choose not to provide information through the Site, and you can manage cookies through your browser settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable state privacy law regarding your personal information. If you would like to make a request or have questions about your information, contact us using the details below, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
10. Clients and Financial Privacy
If you become a Stoneriver client, the personal and financial information you provide in that relationship is handled under the separate arrangements and privacy notice that apply to our clients and in accordance with applicable federal and state financial-privacy laws. That client notice, not this Site Privacy Policy, governs the information we collect and maintain in providing our services.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will update the “Effective Date” above, and changes take effect when posted on the Site.
